Hi all,

after some advice if possible please I'm new to this and read a lot about different things

So i got a new 120ltr tank 2 days ago filled it and added some tap safe and filter start.

All going well i think so i did a water test and my results are as follows,

pH 7.2

Ammonia 0ppm

Nitrite 0ppm

Nitrate beween 10 and 20 ppm.

What do i have to do now before i can add some fish.

All advice and help gratefully received.

Many thanks in advance paul.

Glad to hear you are setting up your tank for fishless cycle

If you have not already done so, have a read of this, will help a lot.

EDIT - just seen Ninjouzata got there first! lol

Hi there Paul, welcome and well done for choosing a fishless cycle!  The details of what you need to do are in the guide that's already been linked twice so I won't link it again :D

It seems you already have a test kit so that's great, the next thing you need is a source of ammonia to get things started.  You can buy ammonia in the household section of some Homebase stores, or search for Kleenoff on Amazon, or there are a few proprietary products for fishless cycling you can buy on the internet.
