Today I had to euthanise my first fish ever, which I did with clove oil. I have to say it looked a very peaceful way to go, but I felt really horrible and guilty and voyeuristic as I sat there and watched my fish die. I felt like an executioner - rationally I know that I did what was best for my fish but still...... Hope I don't have to do that too often.

sorry u had to do that i can only imagin how u felt, i've had to do it but i'm a sick twisted little git. don't get me wrong i still wouldn't hurt a fly let alone a fish it just has noo effect on me it's jus a dead fish to me hope u never have to put another fish down again

I cry every time I have to euthanase a fish...even if they are really sick and floating upside down alive
