I jus wanted to show you guys my new betta. I got him when I came to college. I loved fish so much I could'nt stand to be without one.
His name is "Baby Redz"
I know the tank is basically unfurnished. I have to get some money and a larger tank for him and and one or two others. Im trying to find a 2.5 gallon or a 5 gallon tank for a good price. To no avail. Anywho, here they are!

very colorful fish.
i wonder why everyons first bettas are red...... like mine was and laot of the people on furms were.

My first betta was purple lol but I do see alot of first time bettas being red.

Well he sure is a purdy boy! heh
Decor doesn't have to be expensive. In our 5gal tank, I'm currently using a little 1/2cup plastic tupperware cup for a cave heh. The lil fish don't seem to mind it at all. Sure it doesn't look pretty but it works! hehe You just have to make sure the cup is clean clean clean w/ no soap or any other residue on it at all though.

As for a tank, well, have you thought about getting a big tupperware storage container? You definitely don't need a conventional fish tank to keep them in. How do you think alot of these people with MBS afford their addiction? heh Alot of them use plastic storage bins and all of that good stuff hehe :good:
You could get one of those, then get a cheap 10dollar bubble filter from walmart for it :D Or not get a filter for it *shrugs* Whatever floats your boat!

My first betta was blue. And my second was greenish.
I think my next will be yellow. I find red's too common and would rather have something different.

I wanted to add either one or two other small fish. or something else. but i dunno wat 2 add that he wont fight or kill, and who wont nip at his purty fins!
