Firemouths

HI

I was wondering if i could get firemouths, i have a 26 gallon fish tank. On the internet i have gotten advice that contradicted itself such as, they can be kept in a 26 and they cant be kept in a 26. Im so confused plez help. My tank dimentions are 40"-18"-12"

If your tank is really 40"x18"x12" then it is a 37 gallon tank and perfectly suitable for a pair of Firemouths.
