Firemouths And Mbunas?

will firemouths work well with mbunas? esecially if the firemouths are fully grown adults?

Bad idea, Firemouths rely on idle threats to get their way (enlarging their red chin area), Mbuna think nothing of physical aggression to get their way which will probably damage the jaws of the Firtemouths rather badfly.

yeah i didnt think of that, sounds like a reasonably theory there, the plan is to keep my cuckoo and give it a mate and get some yellow labs to begin with and see how it goes, but i love my firemouth alot and would love it to stay and have a few tame females also. my firemouth can be a bit kissy with the other fish, but it shares the same hiding spot with the cuckoo so i just wondered.......
