O.k. thankx everyone. :good: I have just about one more question. If I put my angel seeing how he is about 2 inches long to my other tank which has guppies, fry, female molly and molly fry for a while and let him grow a little while the firemouth is in my 55 gallon tank and after the angel has grown put him back in would that be okay? Sorry the question just popped in my mind. I just really want a firemouth. oh and by the way is it normal for a angel to have a voracious appetite?

An Angelfish is a Cichlid. From my knowlege pretty much all Cichlids are going to nip fins. Angels are notorious eaters of small Tetras, if it can't fit into the angels mouth then he will most likely pick on it. Seeing how your siding with the people who think it's okay to get your way (which is acceptable of course) try to grow the angel out big (5 inches or more) and then add the firemouth (2 inches or so)-see what happens, they may get along, they may not, but from my first hand expericences firemouths are alot more agressive!

I keep a firemouth with a angel and found very little issue except slight actions of the firemouth being terrortorial but no issues but to echo the sentiments of others it really depends on the fish. My firemouth is to interested in puffing it's gills at my empire Gudgeon...
