She finally did it! I woke up today with eggs on their driftwood ?
Question is, now what? I have another female in there, most likely have to take her out to avoid a massacre but what about the pleco and mystery snails? Will they eat the eggs? What can I or shouldn’t I do to help???
I was going to do a much needed water change today-should I hold off?
Any advice or input would be very much appreciated!

If you have a spare tank I'd move the other fish out into there for their safety but also your pleco is likely to go for the eggs as soon as the lights go out :)

Congrats on the breeding though always good fun to observe. If you want to raise the fry it would be worth getting some fry food and maybe think about a baby brine shrimp hatchery. Once they start growing you'll need to do a couple extra water changes just to get the hormones out the water and it would be good to add some more aeration with an airstone or angling your filter outlet a bit more towards the surface.

Keep us updated :)

That’s what I figured with the plecos-I’m in the process of figuring out an alternate place for them, going to have to be the 10g for a bit. Thank you!
