Firefish

Ive read that firefish prefer "bolt holes" in the tank that they are living in.

Are these essential, because i love firefish! but i dnt have any bolt holes and i also dont kno how to make them, could i have some advace pleae of do they need them? and how to make them?

Bolt holes are just holes in and around the live rock which they use to hide in when they're scared or just rest and watch the world go by. If your LR doesn't have many holes in, you can get little things from your lfs which is like a little rock with loads of holes (I can't remember what they're called.. I want to say barnicle but I don't think that's right). My blenny seems to like really tight holes rather than larger ones, but that may be different for different fish. I just bought a firefish myself today.. a beautiful fish!
