Finnex Fugeray Planted + for Fluval Spec V 5gallons

I was researching and came across this page http://spec-tanks.com/operating-your-spec-aquarium-topless-without-lid/ saw the light and looks nice. some comments to it said it was a Finnex Fugeray Planted + (16″).
Anyone have experience of this model of light, will it help my plants grow or I'm i wasting my money? is the light too low?

I use Finnex lights for all three of my tanks. I would recommend them for planted tanks. I have a load of guppy grass in two of my tanks that do well. In the third tank I have a large amount of water wisteria that does great.

cool. time to save up for this one. i just had to order a new header for this spec v. the slot is so tight where it will go. hopefully it fits.
