Okay i have a 10 gallon tank. In it are 2 Spiketail Paradise fish, 3 Platys and 1 golden Mystery snail. It has some Anacharis and 1 Amazon sword. It has an Aquatech 5-15 filter on it. I would like to get 1 more Paradise fish and get a Ram of some sort such as German Ram, Golden Ram, or a Bolivian ram. Does anyone have any comments?

Do you think i got the room for him or another ram? I dont want to overstock lol. Thats been proven an issue for me before. I am an avid water changer however ;)

Imo one would be ok. Others may disagree. If you would like something more colorful, a male apistogramma would be a good choice.

I have never seen one of those in my LFS. They have Rams and Kribs all the time. Would a Krib work?

Agreed. I think il get either a Bolvian or a German ram as my final fish for my Centerpiece, thank you.

Just to make sure i got a backup plan. could i do 2 rams of different species instead of a spiketail paradise fish and a ram just in case they are out of them?

A pair of blues/golds will happily live in a ten. So one of each would probably be ok.

Sorry, just meant one bolivian, one blue or gold. Other option would be a pair of ramerzi, blue, gold, whatever you like.

Yes. I do have to say though, that Platies will not be happy long term at the higher temperatures the rams require. Also this is just my experience, others may disagree about a pair in a 10 with other fish.

Good luck. I don't think you'll be overstocked, at the limit, but not overstocked.
