Finished Dosing Fertilizer

I finally finished dosing the recommended dosage of Hagen Nutrafin Plant Gro fertilizer. My plants have slowed down their growth for some reason. Could it be because they need to get adjusted to the "new" water that has more nutrients in it?

hmm are yuor plants new ?meaning under 1 week or 2 years old since introduced into your tank ?

My plants have been in there a couple of months.

ohh... thats weird then..... I would not think that they are adjusting to a more nutrient rich water... But maybe a trace element or something to that extent got used up because you added more fertilizer. Something like nutrient A got all used up because you added more of nutrient B. And the plant needs both A and B at the same time to grow properly..

Then how would I go about figuring it out..just wait and look for nutrient deficiencies to see which nutrient is all used up?

I doubt that it something like Nutrient A got all used up, because the leaves are grower smaller than ever.

hmm the leaves are growing smaller, looks to me like stunted growth, thats already a sign of defficiency.

Are you injecting co2 and have high lighting alongside a huge plant load ?

No..it's only .6wpg with fertilizer and no c02. Hmm..i checked out that page, but it says stunted growth is shown on older leaves. The newer leaves that are coming out, are the ones that are getting smaller and smaller. Any ideas? My water sprite was getting larger and larger leaves, now it's also getting smaller. After I introduced the amazon sword, the leaves began getting smaller. Could it be iron deficiency? But that doesn't make sense because my leaves aren't turning yellow..and I also added fertilizer with iron. Ahh..tough one, can't seem to figure out why.

.6 WPG Is really low, maybe the plant is just adjusting to the new lower lighting conditions, Plants take time to adjust. But 2 months is really loong before signs show up... im stumped...
