i am finished with my 55 gallon aquarium remodelling

what do you guys ( and gals ) think.

sorry for the quality of the photos and also the sand is still settling (even though i rinsed it 5 or six times).
 
the sand finally settled down. im going to get more pics later today or tommorrow.

the sand settled down in these pics. and man those mbunas are excavators ive seen bulldozers move less sand. :lol:
 
i think they are happy because several of them are breeding :D
 
I think it really improved the whole look! Great job. I also think a background would help with the whole look you are trying achieve.. Maybe black? Just an idea...
 
only one petstore supplier in my area sells backgrounds. the only problem is that his prices are way to expensive. i will keep that in mind. though good idea :nod:
 
Your tank does look great, and it does look like your fish are happy too! I don't know if you have a Petsmart around your area but they do have about 6 different backgrounds they have solid black, solid blue and I think about 4 different other ones I have to go get me one for my little 10 gallon I just put my dwarf frogs in so it will hide the cord to the filter. I have one on my 55 gallon that has the natural looking rocks and plants on it that I also bought there. I am going to go there in a few days to see if I can find that sand you have. I can't make up my mind if I want the light colored or black sand.
