So I had this great idea of setting up a 10 litre tank for a fry tank, with some gravel, an ornament and a plant.
I put the 2 iddy bitty molly fry into it and now I can't find them. They're so tiny I guess I can't see them, they'd be great at a game of hide and seek :good:

Anyone have any bright ideas on how to find them?
Anyway, I've decided to name the pair Nemo and Bingo. Then the next names (if I find more fry) are Fabio, Elmo, Chico and Harpo. (anyone gets the name reference I WILL LOVE THEM.)

Do you have a filter in there?
Theres no need for gravel as this will cause the water to become dirty quicker than without. A bare bottom tank for fry is much more practical :good:

I'm thinking of getting a filter, but wouldn't the fry get sucked into it? Or can you get special filter guards or something?

I've got 3 fry now, and I saw them all this evening. :good:

I bought a filter and covered it with a some netting, so the fry don't get sucked into the slits.
I've named the third one Elmo. :fun:
