So.. I am setting up a new tank, and haven't fully decided what to put in it yet..

Ive got a Juwel 125 - which holds 125 litres - so fairly reasonable size.

As i am closing down my old tank (Rio 300), I will be moving across most of the fish into this tank.

So far the occupaints consist of;
2 or 3 breeding pairs of brisle nose plecos,
a handful of their offspring,
a clown pleco (4" - and he won't grow any bigger)
a marble pleco (5" - wont get any bigger)
some other small plecos all of which won't get any bigger than 6" when fully grown,
4 clown loaches,
an olive knief fish,
1 female molly,
and 1 male dwarf rainbow fish.

I've kept gouramis before, but have never really had much luck with keeping dwarfs for longer than 10 months- not really sure why, if its water, or if its just their old when I buy them..

As the tank isn't huge, I was wondering which type of gourami would be best suited to the tank size, taking into account the other tank mates they will be having.

All ideas welcome.

i think pearls would fit. i wouldnt go for a dwarf, they just 'go' too easily
