Well after two months in hiding, and me only seeing glimpses of him in the cave, I finally saw my synodontis eupterus come out of hiding for the first time and go darting about the tank. He has easily tripled in size since I got him. I guess that quells the theory that he was starving. His coloration has completely taken on the adult pattern. As soon as I moved in for a picture he resumed hiding. He has gone from 1" when I got him to well over 3" now. That is all! There's at least one positive thing today after waking up to 7 dead tiger barbs.
