Finally Re-Scaped

After about 2 months I have finally finished (for the moment) my re-scape

New HO Lights 2 x 24 Watts
Fluorite Substrate

Plants,

Goldvine
Java Fern (couldn't find narrow leaf java )
Anubias
Amazon Swords
Baby Tears (Seem to be struggling)
Crypt Wendtii
and Hyrgrophillia

My question is, based on my photograph do you think the Java Fern will get too much light?

i get like 1.3wpg 37 Gallons / 48 Watts HO

Dose Seachem Excel Daily and Flourish Weekly

from that picture it looks like the java fern may be getting too much light. java ferns are pretty indestructible though, maybe it wont be a big deal. you could add floating plants to provide shade but i don't know if that'll effect the needs of your other plants.

With good C02 and ferts java doesn't mind light, contrary to what you'll read regarding 'burning' leaves. I would probably keep my eye on it and if the edges start to blacken off, i would do exaclty what MrNiceGuy says and add a couple of floating plants like amazon frogbit.

nice little scape BTW, have you thought about adding some small crytps at the front right, just around that branch?

So far the java fern is still looking alright, that was my plan to eventually cover the front in crypts. Is it possible to split my current crypt into smaller pieces? or should i just purchase more? It has grown so much since I got it, must be the nutrients in fluorite.
