Finally Got My Betta!

hes great.... but i think he is bored hes been chilling on a leaf for most of the day making what i think is a bubble nest.

and also, i got him a snail but didnt think to ask what it was, so what is it?

Maybe it's a Trumpet Snail? And your betta is beautiful!!

It looks like a rabbit snail (Tylomelania gemmifera)! Very neat. Your betta is cute. <3

Yeah it looks like a rabbit snail to me.  Your bettas has some great color!  It is normal for them to chill out on a leaf or something near the surface BUT if you notice him start not being very active, clamping his fins to his body, or not eating then it would be a good idea to start wondering if something is up with him.  So far though--he looks really good in my opinion.

He looks great!!. But if he still acts a little sluggish at the bottom of the tank, then something might be wrong with him
