So, being Christmas and all, I finally decided to go ahead and buy my first pair of bettas from a breeder. I've been leery of dealing with all of the overseas shipping, trans-shippers, etc. But after learning that one of them lives only about an hour away, and I could just pick them up, instead of worrying about pricey shipping, I went ahead and bid and won this guy, as well as a sibling female for the same price. He was listed as a "purple gas". He was just pretty - I just liked hia coloring, it was between him and a pure yellow. He should be here next week
