Hi everyone

Right.

Now that my new filter has arrived, the lid has been removed and i have my heater, filters and peat filtration working well.

I now just need to find a way of putting my lighting over the tank and getting my swords and floating plants from the shop.

After re littering the tank with almond leaves and potting the swords and surrounding them with wood the biotope will be complete for a second time.

But now that i have the plants i am risking adding a pair of any other cichlid my LFS or any of you suggests and cardinals and corys.

Any last tips on the final biotope will be greatly appreciated :)

See post called PERFECTING BIOTOPE for helpful information on what im talking about haha

Thanks a lot everyone

Sam

PS: Im getting an all red tank done for xmas ( red gravel, red fish like platies swordtails and a fighter and slate thats grazed orange) will sen dpics of it around that time!!! :)

Hi Sam, whats the size of the tank in question? Also do you have mature media for the filter or will you be cycling it from scratch?
Keyholes, Apistos, Bolivian Rams or Blue Rams are the obvious choices that would thrive in a planted biotype and be fine with cardinals and cories
