Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
Yesterday:
before water change he sat on the bottom very lathargic, looking sorry for himself. so I took out 90% of water, cleaned the filter, swilled the stones. i then replaced this with clean water, added interpet tapsafe, added 4 new elodia plants and also a single dose of waterlife protozin. i thought that the fin loss was due to having white spot. he is covered in little white spots.
Today:
came home at 5 and went toward the tank to feed, he swam up to the surface but then swam down as i opened the lid. I waited for him to come back up then fed him 3 hikari micro wafer pellets. he ate all 3 easily and is swimming around more but not as much as usual. I have also noticed that where the fin is damaged he has got very fine white fur like stuff
Volume and Frequency of water changes:
I'll be honest (as it is probably 99% my fault) I try to change water every fortnight, but the past month have only managed once due to being away. Usually i do a 50% fornightly and a 75% every 2 months
