Fin Rot Or Fin Nip?

i got a few guppies (3 male 2 female) 3 days ago and the edge of some of the males fins lost color and some have pieces missing. can this be fin rot or does fin rot take longer to do this? i noticed this taking affect the very next day

The males are competing for the females. They will bit each others fins with females in there, either get rid of the females or add more of them.
