I currently have 6 Zebra Danios in a tank which has just finished cycling and is ready for some more fish. I was thinking about introducing some Male Guppies (maybe 2) into the tank for a bit of colour, however, I'm worried incase they're intimidated by the larger shoal of Danios.

How do I stop this happening? Will 2 be alright in an 8 Gallon tank with 6 Danios, or will I need to get a few more?

thats a tough one, since 6 danios in a 8 gallon is already pushing it. Why not just get like 2 more danios? or 2 platy's? The danios may nip the guppies fins.

I'd go with a couple more danios, like Nina said. Guppies would be happier in a large group, but 8 danios would school nicely together
