hey guys was wondering do you have to change the filter sponges on the filter???

not unless they are literally falling apart, you just need to rinse them in water that you have removed from the tank ( the dirty water) and then put them back, they last yrs without the need to be changed,and of course as they store the benifical bacteria its not something you want to do unless you really need to
