if i removed a juwel filter box from a rio 240 and replaced it with 2 external filters allponds soultions 1000 would these 2 filters cope with the tank ive 15 mnbuna in the tank

If there uncycled and you don't add the media from the filter box then no Otherwise, Yes that would be more than fine but one has to wonder why you'd want two.

i have two

it is more frustrating having two, TBH but it dose add some redundancy, as if one filter fails at least you have another filter that wont be 100% cycled to the tank but may prevent a huge spike, never tried it and dont want to tbh

but i would agree with techen, if you have not moved your old filter media over to the new filters then you maybe screwed. or seriously lucky, check your parameters and do water changed when needed but the power of those two filters together is more than enough for the tank and with even more fish inside it,

i have two tetra tec 1200 on my 330L tank and they add plenty of filtration and flow to my for my fish only
