Filter Went Out!

Hey guys,
It's 2am here in the States, and my filter just went kaput. How can I keep the cycled filter cartridge cycled? I won't be able to get a new filter for several hours and I'll die if I have to cycle that tank again. Please help!

You should be fine. As long as you do not let it dry out, then the bacteria will last for around a week. I think you loose around 10% or so a day.

Thank you SO much! I've got the filter pad in tank water, and I'll be able to replace it first thing in the morning. Why do these things always happen in the middle of the night?

Lol yes it is always at the worst possible moment isnt it. Its like electrical things sit there and wait fir you to be busy or out until they decide to stop working. Typical.
