Filter Question

Hi

Basicaly i've just bought and external filter for my aquarium on the 15.02.09, it's a fluval 205.
I've set it all up and it's been running ever since. I've left my internal filter in and running,but what i want to know is, how long should i leave it running for?

youl find you neon tetras are much more active if you keep em in goups of 8 plus

random rseponce, couldnt you cut some of the internal filter media and put it in the external to speed it up a bit

I'm off to my LFS at the weekend to get more fish, and funnly enough tetras where on my list, i was thinking of geting 5 more, as i've only got 3 left.
