Filter Question

hi all,basicaly i have 2 internal filters & a bubble wand running in my tank.what i was wondering was that if i turn off the most powerful filter at night & turn it straight on in the morning would the good bacteria in it die?iv put my cory fry in the main tank & the current the powerful filter creats seems to make it hard for them to rest any where without being dragged around.its not so bad in the day cus im around to keep an eye on them but im worried that at night they could get sucked in or they will end up being so exhausted from fighting the current all the time that it will kll them.

It will cause a bacteria die off, yes.

I wouldn't worry about the cories since their natural habitat is fast flowing streams, so they will prefer the extra current.
