Hi Guys, :D

I currently have a Hagen Fluval 203 external canister filtering my tank (30 gallon - 4ft x 1ft x 1.5ft)

All seems well....the water is clear and my fishies seem very happy (if fish can be happy!?)

Am still a little nervous tho about protecting my new little friends. :/

Is it powerful enough to provide the best environment it can for my fish or should i consider investing in a smaller internal filter/another external filter to help it along the way??

all advices greatly received

tbr

thanks.

am not sure (am at work at the moment  ) but from memory it only pumps 180 - 200 gallons per hour max.

is this gonna cause my fish (listed below) problems? Should I invest in aonther filter?

4 Gourami (2 three spot, 2 opaline)
2 Blue Rams
4 Julii Catfish
2 CAE's (soon to be returned to LFS as they and my rams seem to be picking fights with each other!)

Soon to be arriving....
3-4 otos (to replace the CAE's)
2-4 A.N other fish

once again....thanks.

tbr :)

canister filter are awesome biological filters.

however, adding a small power filter like an aquaclear 200 might be a good idea.

And in case one filter breaks, you still have a running backup!
