Hi,

Wanted:
Item Wanted - Filter, preferably external, sufficient or better than necessary for a 100L tank
Condition Required - Used, preferably cycled
Price Limit - £50
Location - Hull

Am on the lookout for a cheap secondhand filter, in good working order, with all media, preferably external and preferably cycled (although those aren't absolutely necessary, just be nice). I'm in Hull and would much rather collect if possible (working all day every day at the moment). I'm not massively fussed if it needs posting, though, as you can DHL stuff relatively cheaply these days. I don't really want to spend over £50 all told.

Hope someone can help! :good:

hi moose, i have a fluval 305 still under warrenty and just cleaned up and new biomax/filter foams/polishing pads fitted and never been wet. i got it with a used tank i just bought and dont need this external. i would give great filtration on your 100L tank. i can do it for £50 posted if interested.... just spent over £30 on media for it as i was going to run it along side my eheim but changed my mind and could do with some cash instead........

let me know what you think, Matt.

Get yourself down to either the outlet or the other new place near Dunswell (http://www.mailgofind.co.uk/hull/garden_centres/aquatics_northfield/)

You could easily get yourself a brand new external filter suitable for a 100l tank for £50.

No...the big...BIG garden centre just down from Ings on your left. Towards Beverley.

Have you been to Northfield yet?....prices are rock bottom!

I actually haven't been to the outrageously massive one, but I have been to the one just further up even from there with the Maidenhead Aquatics in it. Is that massive one any good?

I'll check out Northfield, though, thanks :good:

Yes its a superb place for plants and also for dry goods. It use to do Jewel tanks cheaper than anywhere...including the net...now I think Northfield have taken that spot...their dry goods are cheaper than the net for virtually everything. Neither do fabulous fish but for filters have a look at both and for a couple of hours out, the outlet is excellent!

Are you still after a filter?
I have a TetraTec EX600 available, only about 8 months old.
