Hey all
My filter is an aquamanta efx300 external (not sure if they are maidenhead aquatics own brand)
I am wondering if i need to add more meida to the filter as the trays just seem abit empty or if whats already in is enough for my 62g.
The attached photo is what is in the filter now, but without the active carbon bag as it had been in a couple of months, so i removed it.
Current stock
11 tiger barbs
3 odessa barbs
3 botia dario loach
1 red tail shark

Thanks

Personally I'd replace the phosphate pad and carbon with alfagrog, unless you have high phosphates in your tap water then you might want to have something reducing that. Otherwise, if you have live plants, they'll take care of most phosphates

Thank you
Yes i have live plants but not sure my phosphate level, i dont have a test kit for it and does not show on local water company site.
Do i add the alfagrog to the same try with the wool pad on the top
