Filter Media

I just got my aqua one aquastart 320 and as it's second hand it hasn't come with any filter media for the under gravel filter. What media would you recommend?

Under Gravel Filters don't have any filter media.
The idea is, is that the substrate is the filter media, add roughly
5cm of gravel (such as peagravel) on top of the Filter plate.
The bacteria will form here.
