Filter Has Stopped Working

Hi, need some really urgent help.

Just did a water change and cleaned the fitler media and when I put the filter back in and push the value down to suck water back from the tank into filter nothing happened. The filter is not taking water back in.

I have checked everything, the housing is on correctly, inlet pipe cap is on tight and the tubing clamps are secure.

Does anyone know what we can do as I have to get it working again tonight as I am going on holiday for a week tomorrow!!!

DOnt worry, fixed it but sucking up the inlet pipe to get it going!

I had the same problem when i last cleaned my filter, same one xp2. I had to suck att the stuf, but my problem was a blockage, got a mouthfull of gunk and crap, real nice!!!! I've never had much problem apart from that though.
