Filter Brands

I'm thinking about starting another 20-30 gallon tank, and I'm wondering which brand is best, Aqueon, Marineland penguin biowheel, or aquaclear. I have an aqueon in my 15 gallon and it works pretty good I guess but I was wondering what peoples opinions are. I appreciate any input.

Personally having owned and used all 3, aquaclears are my favorite. Best options for bio, mechanical and chemical filtration, plus they last forever. I've had a mini for over 20 years and a 50 for at least 15 years. Never had any problems with them.

Depends if your wanting to go internal or external, some are better internal, some better external from my previous experience. Personally i currently use eheim for my tanks, my main has both a biopower internal and a pro2 external, keep it nice and clear.

thanks for the tips, think i'm gonna do an aquaclear internal and the other external if i can find it used
