thanks tizer, will look into tonight. coldcazzie, youre right, i get distracted by new shiny things lol and i have perfect ammunition at the moment as the other half took out a loan and bought a motorbike, got two new tanks out of that

so you dont think high price means better equipment?

Lol, I don't think you're looking in the right place for those filters, even the biggest filter from the most expensive range sells for about 350 pounds, form what I've seen

But for a 90 litre tank, the choice is limited to only a few of the smaller models.

From my experience, price is related to features, not reliability. I have always had good experiences and have only heard good things about the Eheims, with the exception of the Ecco range, which sucks.
