At present I have 2 Cannister Filters (see pic) set up under my 10g tank. (Fluval 106, and a SunSun knock off) (BTW, the SUNSUN knockoff @ $AUD39 is whisper quiet compared to the Fluval 106!) In the next month or more, I plan on setting up a 50 gal tank that I bought a couple of days ago. I'm lead to believe that the 106 will not have the capacity for my 200 litre tank?
I am running 2 cannisters at present, for, as far as I know, keeping some spare bacteria is a good thing if you are planning on adding a new tank.
I like the idea of Cannister filtering, so any suggestions regarding my future needs would be appreciated, as well as alternative suggestions.. Still not sure how this Tank will be stocked, though there will be plants in it. My wife stated the latter!
