I'm afraid we need a lot more information from you before we can help, as films or cloudy eyes can have many different causes.

What species is the affected fish, what tankmates does it have, what size is the tank, how long has it been set up, what filtration does it have, was it cycled, how much water do you change and how often and do you have the results of any tests you can post?

What's the pH? How many of the fish are affected? We really need to know how long the tank's been set up and whether it was/is cycled as well.

One fish is effective! All level are fine!

I'm afraid 'fine' isn't of much use to us; we need the actual numbers (and how long the tank's been set up and how it was cycled).

Some fish can get cloudy eyes if the pH or hardness isn't right for them, if there's a problem with water quality; or it could be an injury, bacterial infection, old age, many, many things.

First of all, relax. Fluttermoth is trying to help and she gives excellent advice. Without the information she is requesting, we could give you the wrong advice and make things worse. I know it can be frustrating, but this could be anything from poor water quality to parasites. Help us help you and give the information that is requested. We really want to help.

There is also a pinned article at the top of this section that indicates how to post to this section. Think about all the questions a doctor might ask you if you were sick.

Is it just over one eye? I ask because africn ciclids make it a point of attacking each others eyes, as such they tend to heal them very well. I had one a couple weeks back with an eye injury he hid for about a week and came out good as new.
