how do you lot fill your tanks up with water, i have a 70 litre tank and was using jugs to fill it up which takes ages and alot of people have tanks alot bigger than that, i was thinking would using a hose pipe be ok if its new and clean

I've been using a hose on my tanks, works just fine. Some are marked as not drinking water safe, you may want to look at an rv or camping shop for drinking water safe hose.

I used one that was not drinking water safe, it worked fine. Only thing I noticed was that you had to let the water run for a little while to get rid of the "hose" smell to the water. The only reason I switched was I was driving past an rv shop one day, decided to check on prices. Hose was cheap, so i bought a couple. Hasn't made any difference, fish are still the same healthy fish.

is there anything u can hook up to a bath room sink?
b/c that would make fillin my taks up alot faster and how do u treat the water? if it is jut running stright thoug into the tank

I dont think 70 Litre is big over all. And it ain't that long. I use hose in the washroom to transfer water to the bucket near my tank then add conditioner and put them in. As matter effect if its a new tank I dont even use conditioner as there will be no fish there for like 4-5 days anyways just put them in.

I use a Python now for all my tanks
before, i would carry 5 gallon buckets back and forth but the pythion makes it alot easier.

i just screw it on the faucet and clean and fill up the tank. i add conditionner first and then fill it up!
