Fill Out Your Profile, Get A Free Fish!

So many times I click on a topic where someone is requesting help, and there isn't enough info posted. This is understandable, as some folks get a little freaked out when something happens with their aquarium. One of the first things I do when there isn't enough info is check the profile. When there isn't any info in the profile, I have to post requesting this info. This doesn't hurt me, but it may be hurting the other person's fish, as I have to wait for the original poster to post that info before posting any ideas of my own. All this time the original poster's fish, filter, or whatever is just sitting, waiting, and probably not getting better on it's own.

Since I have a load of fish, I will give one free fish to anyone who completes their profile & posts on here. This is pick up only, I'm not going to be shipping one fish at a time all over the planet. By filling out your profile you are helping yourself if you ever have a problem, which we all do. I'm adding a little incentive, and trying to get it across that filling out your profile is to your benefit.

Great idea tolak. I would apply, but i don't think the poor fish would survive the trip across to the uk, even if i collected it myself!

I agree, the profile should really be used to put any information you have about tank size, stocking etc, that in an emergency when you perhaps forget to add that important information, it is there so it can be used to help you.

I just filled out my profile and would love a free fish, but as there is no shipping I will not be able to get one as I'm in Coventry, Rhode Island.

I would say that this isnt the best idea. Not to put you down Tolak but, if htey are having issues with there tank, putting a angel in there wont help any.

That's an end shot of a 29 gallon, many of my tanks are set up that way. Those fish are going to be sold at an auction tomorrow. There's plenty more.

I would say that this isnt the best idea. Not to put you down Tolak but, if htey are having issues with there tank, putting a angel in there wont help any.

The idea is to fill out your profile before you have a problem, that way any missing info is available.

This is an attempt to draw members attention to the importance of filling out their profile. Free fish always get people's attention.

Free fish in my area might be an incentive. but methinks a flight to Chicago might be a bit OTT for an angel...lol.

Besides, I'd already filled mine in. I'll fill it in again if anyone has a dull eye royal they want to give me as incentive

Beautiful angels tolak!!!!!!!!!!1 The blonde in the second pic right infront of the heat looks like its top finn is deformed. Might want to check it out. Also, now I understand why you are giving out the incentivies.
