I have read that Filament Barbs develop face markings when in breeding condition and not to confuse these with a disease.
Our Filament has a round spot markings on its 'nose', but these are not proud of the skin and are not particularly white. It also has a single white raised spot on its top lip, that I would normally associate with a parasite and treat accordingly - expert views please.
