Figure Eights

At the fish shop a couple of weeks ago, They had two figure eights in a freshwater tank. Around a week ago I went back and they had one actually living in a full salt tank. With lion fish and everything. Can they actually take that much salt? It just kinda shocked me. Anyone else ever seen them kept in full salt?

Nope, but there's a similar looking puffer called the Ceylon that looks very similar but grows larger that can be kept in marine tanks

Hm. Maybe that's what it was. The other puffer was gone, so not sure if he sold or died. Thanks for the possible explanation!
