hi recently got 2 kribensis, one has the red belly and one hasn't so i guess i have male and female however ever since i got them about last week they have started to chase each other or the red belly chase the other one. Plus, which is male the red belly or the non-red belly??? My tank is 15g and there is a lot of live plants etc in there.
I don't want this to be happening, the poor non-coloured girl (i think)can't get anywhere near the open water when he's around as he'll chase her until she darts behind something.

Anyway to sort this out wit4hout referring to the easy option of taking them back?

The red bellied one is the female. Here is a link to the profile which shows both and provides some basic info on the behaviors. I love these fish!

Kribensis

Red bellies arent a dechipering factor. All my males have had red bellies during breeding season, see:

See the red? That was my male about 2 years ago. Here was the female:

She wasnt even that colorful during breeding.
