fight between my convict pair!

My cons have had their first batch of fry recently, they are about 2 weeks old.
Now the male is chasing and biting the female.
Her belly has more red colouring than usual.
Does this mean she wants to breed again, and the male doesn't??
What should I do?
I don't really have a place to put one of the adults in, but maybe it would help to remove the fry? or would that only make it worse?
