I have ADA Brighty K and Brighty step 1.

How much do i dose, and how often for an aquarium which has just been planted? It is all in chinese!

Do i use them both at the same time, or just one at a time?

I have never used the ADA range, however i'm sure i have read its 1 squirt per 20ltr of water. But again this will be a guide. You could aways drop ADA an email and see what they say. Let us know BTW.



PS, expensive ferts for a big tank!

yeh, i have heard that too, but it was just though searching google. Nowhere that sells the stuff seems to state the quantity needed.

As for the expense - i got all three bottles, put the brighty k bottle (around £30 a bottle) and also like 5L containers of water conditioner etc etc from the guy i got the tank from. I think there must be about £250-£300 worth of 'bits' thrown in for nothing when i bought the aquarium from him! So for now, no problem, but as soon as they run out.....new, cheaper stuff will be bought haha
