Females

Hi,
I need to know if I get female bettas should I still feed them the betta breeding food like worms and shrimp. Or is it ok to just feed them regular betta pellets if I am not breeding them.

They would be perfectly fine with betta pellets, but there's no harm in giving them bloodworms and brine shrimp as a treat. I like to give mine a variety of foods just to keep feeding time interesting, my females will even attack zucchini after they have a meal of bloodworms.
