Can female betta be aggressive like males? My boyfriend wants a female to have in his community tank, my male that was in there went after a neon, would a female do the same?
We have 13 guppies (6 of them being fry) 5 neons and 4 corys in there and its a 35 gallon tank.
Thanks :good:

Females can be equally agressive. Better together in a sorority, even then you can get fighting. You can try, it depends on the temperment, but you will need another tank for her incase all is not well. She'll probably eat the fry

The fry at the moment are in a floating breeder tank. They are around a 1cm long now, would a betta go for them at this size?
We do have a 3 foot tank thats sat in the basement... Im surprised I havent brought that up yet and divided it all for bettas to live in! No lid on the tank though
