Female Swordtail Looks Ready To Pop

hi newbie here ive a female sworldtail thats huge round the belly ive put her in the breeding tank as she looks like shes ready to drop but ive noticed shes laid on her side what is wrong with her ive never seen a fish so huge round the belly please can some one help thanks

There are at least two possibilities. One is that she is being overfed. If so she will have a very round shape rather than the squarish shape that comes from pregnancy. The other of course is a pregnant fish. There is a link in my signature to see a thread about fish that are ready to pop.
