I have got up this morning to find one of my female guppies at the top of the tank slightly bent and with a serious loss of balance problem.

I believe, although i'm not 100% certain, that she is the mother of my 6 guppies born last weekend. But over the last week or so her balance hasn't been great and now it's really bad. She is swimming around in circles, turning around and can't stay horizontal at all.

I dropped some revitalizer tonic on her about 30mins ago, but I don't know how affective this is.

I done a 30% water change on Saturday afternoon.

I have a hatchery tank, but my 6 healthy guppy fry are in there at the moment.

I have Neon Tetras in the tank, so i'm not sure if it's safe to add Aquarium Salt to the tank (if this would even help).

Is she a goner? Or is there anything I can do to help her recover?

I euthanised the guppy this evening as it was stuck to the top of the filter, bent in a 45 degree angle and showing no signs of improvement over the past 48hrs.

I've let a fish run until the bitter end before, but I felt it was cruel to leave her.

She's left 6 guppy fry behind her though...
