Female Guppy Not Right..

prime neutralizes the ammonia, and doesn't totally remove it. Some test kits will be able to tell the neutralized for apart from pure ammonia, and some can't. I know prime is very popular here.

I have never had fry, so i can't help you there. Unfortunately the very useful search function requires four letter words, so you cannont search for fry and ich. fun huh? I will try to PM someone who may know.

LOL.. never knew that search required that! Hmmm.. learn something new everyday here, even if it is not about fish! I really appreciate all your help. :D

I just talked with someone about the fry, and they told me that the normal is to treat using half the dose, but you will be treating for longer. Try to do some water changes with water treated to neutralize the ammonia, as that can reduce the ich parasites. After about 4 days, begin to raise the temp no more than 2*F or 1* C per day up to 82*F. This will help speed up the ich life cycle as they are only able to be killed on one of their 4 stages of life.

Here is a link wiht more info in it for you.
