Anyone wonder why its doing this? it likes to stay in the corner behind the filter and today my males look like they are staying on the top or they are just doing it.

Water stats are okay. nitrates 10ppm and ammoniaand nitrite 0ppm

Have You Done A Water Change Today. What's Your Temperature At Mate Mine Sometimes Do That On A Water Change Or A Drop In Temperature.

My Fish Did This For Ages, I Found Out That I Wasnt Disturbing The Surface Of The Water.. They Looked Like They Were Gasping For Air!.. But I Moved The Filter outlet To Disturb The Surface Of The Water And They Were Fine Went Back To There Merry Selves :)

Very hot water during the heatwave we finally have in the UK and elsewhere?

Escaping the attention of male Guppies, or at least trying to ?

Today i checked her and she has finrot :( abit of bloodstreak showing on her tail and her tail is getting torn off. Before she would stay at the top of the tank at the corner behind the filter outlet alone and yes the males would sometimes chase her. Its tale at the bottom was a little red before. The heat wave is coming in the UK and my tanks tempurature is 30'C which is hotter then normal also i put the female in a bowl and put my air pump in there and used medicine :good:

I am wondering how it got it? was it from the sight of a faint red colour showing on its tail and staying at the top of the water alone in the corner or before i put her in a fish hatchery with 5 fry she gave birth to and they were nipping her tail a little bit and i took them out

Just wanted to update. she looks okay, still at the top of the water but she is starting to swim around the edges and is mostly swimming down and i did notice that her tail sticks up and she floats to the top. is this swim bladder?
