In my tank atm i have white clouds, emerald eyed rasboras (tiny) and a few guppies, if i got about 3 females would they eat the fish i have atm ( i know they would harrass the guppies but im wondering about the others)

Sadly, you would need a few more than that.
Female fighters have a tendancy to fight amongst themselves if not in groups of 6 or more.

They're best as a sirority tank on their own.

so 6 females? thats fine
What about the white cloud and rasboras?

Im guessing they are ok with assassin snails and corys.

It's going to be better to have 1 or the other I'm afraid.

Either the girls, and some snails etc

OR Minnows and rasboras with the corys.

The girls need an awful amount of space considering the size they are, they just need the space to hide from the others if one starts being a bully.

You could get away with 5 females, but i agree, you will have to re-home the other fish.
There will defos be aggression at first, but the should get used to each other.

If your having trouble finding females; on Ebay currently there is Ebayer selling Job-Lots of female bettas. (might be worth checking it out) :)

I'm getting a pair off her, I think :good:

Anyway. Yeah, for your first sorority, I'd stick with the females. Get at least 5 or 6. I've kept 9 females with neon tetras and corys before but from the horror stories I hear it seems I just had some exceptionally good natured girls.

Still got one of them (the others died in a massive columnaris outbreak about three months ago). She's the most good natured, lovely girl ever. Still lives with the shrimp, neons and corys. She's very active and a little bossy at times but has never come close to scaring or hurting the other fish.

However, it could all have gone the other way. Could have been tears from day one.

I have a happy soroity of 12 girls that live with a pleco and a guppy, works well, just normal bossy picks between everyone
